Obituary
Thomas M. Harvey, 68, of Berwick, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born in Bloomsburg on June 4, 1955, he was a son to the late James C. Harvey and the late Tacy (Tanner) Erb Harvey.
Mr. Harvey attended Berwick Area Schools. Afterward, he pursued a long career as a truck driver. In his younger years, he was a long-haul driver. He transitioned to local driving as he neared retirement. Tom enjoyed working in his garage, whether it was on cars, motorcycles, or anything else that he found interesting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, who will greatly miss him and his sense of humor.
Surviving Tom are his sons: Joshua M. Harvey and wife, Shannon, of Berwick, Brent M. Harvey of Old Forge, and Joshua D. Shaner and wife, Ashley, of Jerseytown; grandchildren: Christian, Tanner, Kolton, and Brantley Harvey and Trevor and Owen Shaner; siblings: James P. Harvey and wife, Vicky, and Carolee E. Baldwin; former spouses: Brenda Sink Saba and Lori Formica Van Pelt; and his companion Diane M. Shaner.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by brother, Albert E. Erb; nephews: Paul Bankes and Brian Bankes; and niece, Bethanie Bankes.
