Terry L. Middaugh, Sr., 66, of Shickshinny, passed away suddenly Monday, January 9, 2023 at his home. Born in Nanticoke on July 29, 1956, he was a son to the late Charles A. and Beatrice A. (Derby) Middaugh.
Terry was a graduate of West Side Career and Technology Center, Class of 1974. Following his graduation, he proudly served in the US Navy. His career spanned more than 21 years and took him around the globe. On January 3, 1981, he wed the former Holly J. Harter. Together they raised their children and traveled the country as his service required. He later worked for Dancheck, Cintas, and most recently, A. Dancheck, Inc., from which he retired. Terry was a member of NC Church and an active member of Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company #1. He was a dedicated volunteer who enjoyed serving his community. He was also an avid hunter. His greatest joy, however, was time spent with his beloved family and friends, by whom he will be deeply missed.
Surviving Terry is his wife of 42 years, Holly J. (Harter) Middaugh; sons: Zachary J. Middaugh of Erie, Terry L. Middaugh, Jr. of Hunlock Creek, and Elijah B. Middaugh and wife, Jordyn, of Bloomsburg; grandchildren: Gavin A. Middaugh, Caylee Houseknecht, Deklan E. Middaugh, Delilah A. Middaugh, and Daxton C. Middaugh; siblings: Sharon B. Featherman and husband, David, of Shickshinny Valley and Michael E. Middaugh and wife, Donna, of Hunlock Creek; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
