Following his retirement, Stanley moved back to Pennsylvania, where he resided with his sister, Leona Miller, until her passing in 2007.
Stanley was a man of great faith who believed the Holy Bible to be the true word of God and that Jesus was born, shed his blood for our sins, died, was buried, rose again, and that we will be with him in glory. Stanley had an interest in aviation and had obtained his private pilot’s license in 1948 and had worked toward his commercial license. He enjoyed travelling, photography, music, and spending time with his family and friends, by whom he will be deeply missed.
