Sharon M. (Andreas) Lawton, 80, of rural Bloomsburg (Madison Township), died Friday afternoon, April 22nd, 2022 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born April 13, 1942 in Hetlerville, she was a daughter of the late Harvey “Dump” Andreas and Alice (Lucas) Andreas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larue E. “Fuzzy” Lawton, on June 28, 2007.
Sharon was a 1960 graduate of Central Columbia High School. She was a long time employee of CVS and was working at the Bloomsburg CVS at the time of her death.
She was a member of the Hetlerville United Methodist Church.
Her hobbies included crocheting and jig saw puzzles.
Surviving are her two children: Joseph E. Burns and his wife, Mikki, of Frackville; Beverly J. Seely and her husband, Jeffrey, of Berwick; three granddaughters: Nicole, Tesla, and Joie; six great grandchildren: Cheyenne, Cove, Leif, Gemma, Brecken and Oakley; a sister, Beverly Frace, of Hetlerville and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Santee.
Funeral Services Will be held Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, at 11 AM at the Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick, with Pastor Scott L. Lyons, Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the MIfflinville Cemetery. A Viewing will be held Wednesday morning from 9 AM until the time of the Service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 1467 Bloom Road, Danville, PA 17821. The Kelchner, McMichael & Readler, Inc., of Berwick, is honored to serve the Lawton Family.
