Marie Frace Obituary

Marie Leone (Nagle) Frace, 85, of Mifflinville, passed away peacefully Friday, April 5, 2024 at Brookdale Bloomsburg. Born in Bloomsburg on August 27, 1938, she was a daughter to the late Clair B. and Harriet A. (Klinger) Nagle.

Marie was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School, Class of 1956. On November 2, 1957, she wed the love of her life, the late Charles R. Frace, Jr., with whom she would raise her family and share 63 years of marriage. Marie was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a member of Mifflinville United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed puzzles and crossword puzzles. She was also an avid reader. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving Marie are her sons: Larry Frace and wife, Debra, of Bloomsburg, Tim Frace and wife, Maricarmen, of Orlando, FL, and James Frace and wife, Amber, of Bloomsburg; daughter, Kay Petty of Berwick; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Polly Diehl and husband, Robert, of Berwick.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Frace, Jr., who passed away April 21, 2020. She was also preceded in death by son, Christopher Frace, who passed away in 2009, and by brothers: Thomas Nagle and Alan Nagle.

Marie’s family would like to thank Brookdale Bloomsburg and Commonwealth Hospice of Berwick for the excellent care provided to her.

Marie’s services are private with her interment at Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. Pastor Joshua Yorks of Mifflinville United Methodist Church will officiate.
