Linda (Leiby) Braswell

After a lengthy illness Linda went to her eternal reward on February 10, 2023 at the age of 82.  Born September 24, 1940 to the late Harold James Leiby and Hester Irene (Slusser) Leiby, she is survived by her devoted partner of many years Steven Shoub of Venice FL, as well as children Rhonda Melstrom (husband Charles Ferguson) of Lake Wales FL, Russell George of Woodbridge VA, and Rebecca George of Lake Wales FL, and grandchildren Stacy (husband Jason), Kenneth, Erik, Gregory and Tamara (husband Gonzalo). 

In addition to her parents Linda was predeceased by her brother David Leiby, her first husband Ray George, her second husband David Braswell, her eldest son Ronald George, and her youngest daughter Rosemary Atwood.

Linda’s loved ones request that family and friends join them for her funeral 11 AM Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Mifflinville United Methodist Church, 4th and Market Streets, Mifflinville. Pastor Joshua Yorks will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment to follow immediately at the Mifflinville Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held in Venice, FL at a later date.
