June Kishbaugh Obituary

June E. (Stout) Kishbaugh, 94, of Benton, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Bonham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stillwater.  Born in Shickshinny on May 26, 1927, she was a daughter to the late Robert and Pauline (Graham) Stout.

June was a graduate of Shickshinny High School, Class of 1946.  In that same year, she wed Harold R. Kishbaugh.  Together they raised their family and shared 21 years of marriage.   June had attended Stillwater Christian Church and had worked at Consolidated Cigar and at the Orangeville Nursing Center.  June loved spending time with her family, by whom she will be greatly missed.

Surviving June are her children:  Dwayne Kishbaugh and wife, Wendy, of Summit, NY, Alvin Kishbaugh of Perry, FL, and Barbara Evans and husband, Edward, of Benton; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister: Mary Ewashko of Quakertown; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Kishbaugh, who passed on October 28, 1967.  She was also preceded by children:  Allen Kishbaugh, who passed as an infant, Michael Kishbaugh, and Yvonne Jett.

All are welcome to join June’s family for her funeral 1 PM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E. Third Street, Berwick.  Pastor Raymond D. Purdy of Living Word Baptist Church will officiate.  Friends will be received from 12 Noon until the time of the service.  Interment at Garrison Memorial Cemetery, Moore Hill Road, Berwick, will follow.  Online messages of comfort and support can be left at www.kelchnerfuneralhome.com.
