Helen attended Berwick schools. On September 13, 1941, she wed the love of her life, James P. Dalberto. Together they would raise their daughter and share 66 years of marriage. Helen had worked at several textile mills, including Baer Silk Mill, Duplan Silk Mill, and Berwick Knit Wear. She had also been employed by the Fulton Lamp Company. Mrs. Dalberto was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. She was a gentle mother who loved unconditionally throughout her life.
