Born in Berwick on January 2, 1935, he was a son to the late Bryson C. and Elizabeth (Harvey) Longenberger. He was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Berwick, where he sang in the choir. Being a Lifetime member of the NRA, Harvey enjoyed hunting, particularly for black bear in Canada. He also enjoyed listening to music, especially the Statler Brothers, country music or anything else that he could sing along with. He had a fantastic sense of humor, for which he had been noted in his high school yearbook and kept throughout his days. He loved spending time in the presence of his family and friends, by whom he will be greatly missed.
