Harrison James Lemon, 87, of Berwick, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born in Drums on September 17, 1934, he was a son to the late Walter A. and Violet (Pierce) Lemon.
Mr. Lemon attended a one room school house in Drums and was one of 18 children. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On June 5, 1959, Harrison wed the former Betty Strong, with whom he would raise his family and share 62 years of marriage. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and of the Berwick VFW Post 821. He worked at Dana Corp. in Berwick, from which he retired after 23 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time at the family cabin near Benton. He had also enjoyed traveling with his wife.
Surviving Harrison is his loving wife, Betty (Strong) Lemon. Also surviving are daughters: Jenny Lemon of Berwick and Deborah Fink of Bloomsburg; granddaughters: Kaitlin Sisley and Jessica Butters; and siblings: Thomas, Margaret, Margie, Charles, and William.
