Esteban Toledo, 64, of Mifflinville, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 1, 2023 at his home with his family at his side. Born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico on April 1, 1959, he was a son to the late Ramon Toledo and Juanita (Rivera) Figueroa.
Mr. Toledo graduated from John Jay High School in Brooklyn. On February 14, 1979, he wed Delsi (Tellado) Toledo. Esteban was a long-time employee of Consolidated Container Corp., having worked there for 22 years. In his youth, he had enjoyed working as a landscaper in Puerto Rico. Esteban was a talented martial artist, having been a black belt in the Wing Chung discipline. He had operated a martial arts school in Puerto Rico and devoted his time and talents toward providing a positive outlet for neighborhood youth. Esteban took great pride in his family, by whom he will be deeply missed.
Surviving Esteban is his loving wife of 44 years, the former Delsi Tellado. He is also survived by children: Athina Rodriguez and husband, Ely, of Brandon, FL, Steve Toledo and wife, Takisha, of Mifflinville, and Cliffton Toledo and wife, Devin, of Bloomsburg; grandchildren: Destiny, Tony, Dante, Dylan, and Trinity; and siblings: Lumi, Carlos, Maritza, and Vivian.
Esteban’s services are private. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network, Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville.
