Edna H. (Huntington) Eroh, 94, of Mifflinville, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born in Lime Ridge on June, 25 1928, she was a daughter to the late Raymond and Myrtle (Gulliver) Huntington.
Mrs. Eroh was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School. On July 2, 1949, she wed Robert E. Eroh, with whom she raised her family and shared 57 years of marriage. Edna was a faithful member of Mifflinville United Methodist Church, where she had served on the administrative council. She had worked at the Mifflinville Knitting Mill, the Berwick Hospital, and the orthodontic office of Dr. Marshall Welch. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, camping vacations, and sewing. She was an avid quilter and participated in the Bloomsburg Quilting Guild. She loved spending time with her beloved family, especially those times spent supporting her granddaughters’ various activities. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving Edna are her sons: Bradley D. Eroh and wife, Julieann, of Bloomsburg and Scott R. Eroh and wife, Karen, of Nescopeck; grandchildren: Hannah Shepley and husband, Taylor, Caitlin Eroh, and Rachael Meyer and husband, Nathan; brother, Edward Huntington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert E. Eroh, who passed away June 12, 2007. She was also preceded in death by siblings: Mary Sponenberg, William “Bill” Huntington, Clifton Huntington, Helen Hunsinger, and Esther Hoagland.
All are welcome to join Edna’s family for her funeral 12 noon Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Mifflinville United Methodist Church, 4th and Market Streets, Mifflinville. Pastor Joshua Yorks will officiate. Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment at Mifflinville Cemetery will follow.
