David A. Stout, 55, of Berwick, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his home. Born in Berwick on April 24, 1967, he was a son to George S. Stout and the late Annalee (Larish) Stout.
David was a graduate of Columbia Montour Area Vocational-Technical School, Class of 1985. He continued his education at Penn State University, studying electrical engineering. He worked at George Wolfe TV Service and Flick Brothers Electric. For 24 years, he was employed by Autoneum. He enjoyed repairing electronics such as TV’s, VCR’s, camcorders, and computers. David was also a Ham Radio enthusiast; licensed under the handle KY3W and having served as a volunteer examiner and president of the Columbia Montour Amateur Radio Club. David had an affinity for history, and frequently participated in history trivia at family gatherings. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, target shooting, and fishing. Some of his best memories were those of fishing at Lake Romasa with his family and fishing on the river with his father.
Surviving David is his father, George S. Stout of Berwick; brothers: George E. Stout of OH and James R. Stout and Joseph D. Cappelloni of Berwick; and aunt, Deborah Williams; and uncle, Raymond E. Larish.
David was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Annalee (Larish) Stout, who passed away January 31, 2020.
All are welcome to join David’s family for his funeral 11 AM Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1315 Fairview Avenue, Berwick. Pastor Chad Hebrink will officiate. His viewings will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2022 and 9-10 AM Thursday, September 15, 2022, both at the Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E. Third Street, Berwick.
