Beryl L. (Taylor) Eichlin, 77, of Berwick, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital. Born in Bloomsburg on August 30, 1944, she was a daughter to the late Clarence and Alma (Troy) Taylor.
Beryl was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School, Class of 1962. She had worked at the Villa Capri in Berwick for many years. On September 1, 1984 Beryl wed James R. Eichlin, with whom she would share 33 years of marriage prior to his passing on April 19, 2018. They had loved traveling in their RV and wintering over in Florida. They belonged to antique tractor clubs including the Montour Antique Tractor Association. Beryl also enjoyed sewing, ceramics, flower gardening, baking and cooking. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with them.
Surviving Beryl are her daughters: Susan Garrison and husband, Frank, of Catawissa, Lorie Shadle and husband, Doyle, of Bloomsburg, and Mary Millard of Lightstreet; grandchildren: Vanessa, Aerica, Alayna, Gregory, Evan, and Zeth; 8 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Irvin Taylor and wife, Sandra, and Marjorie Reid.
In addition to her parents, Beryl was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Eichlin. She was also preceded by a grandson, Jeffery Garrison.
All are welcome to join Beryl’s family for her funeral at 11 AM Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E. Third Street, Berwick. Pastor Mike Delp, Commonwealth Hospice Chaplain, will officiate. Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment at Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg, will follow.
