Barbara M. (Barna) Collins, age 80, of Summerhill, passed away in her home on April 22, 2022 surrounded by family and under the care of Commonwealth Hospice of Berwick.
Born in Hazleton on May 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Durange) Barna and Stephen Barna.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Thomas Wilson Collins (married September 28, 1963), a daughter Mary Ethel Collins (April 17, 1967), and two sisters: Diane Evans and Joan Fox.
Barbara is survived by a son, William Joseph Creasy, Summerhill and daughter, Christina Collins and companion, Frank Hunsinger, Berwick. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Nichole Monto, Douglas Hoppy Jr., Candace Hoppy, Olivia Hoppy, Reagan Silvette, William Creasy, Jennifer Williams, Kate Evans, and Brandon Evans; great grandchildren: Elyanna Parcell, William Creasy, Rylee Creasy, Grayson Williams, Everley Williams and Opal Evans.
Barbara worked at Wise Foods Berwick for 37 years as a supervisor. Prior to this she, worked at the Berwick Cigar Factory and for McDermet Contractor.
Barbara was always laughing and seeing the good in everything and everyone. She loved spending time with her grandchildren going to the Bloomsburg Fair every day.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28 at 11am at St. Joseph Church, Berwick, where she was a member. Her pastor, Reverend William T. Barbee will officiate as celebrant. Visitation will be available at 10-11am at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Barbara’s name may be given to St. Joseph Church, 721 Monroe Street, Berwick, PA 18603.
