Zachariah Harold Babb

Zachariah Harold Babb, 30, of Stone Chuch Road, Berwick passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Born June 6, 1983 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, he was a son of Timothy H. Babb and Jill A. (Hunsinger) Jacobs, both of Berwick. Zach was a graduate of Berwick High School and worked for B&B Tree Service. He had also worked for K-Fab, Leggett & Platt, and Lady Ester. He was an avid football fan, WWF fan, country music fan and loved spending time with his dog, Yukon. He also enjoyed hunting with his family and hunting trips to Nebraska. Surviving, in addition to his parents are his step father, Michael Jacobs, his step mothers: Virginia Pursel of Millville and Linda Edwards of Berwick. Also surviving are his longtime companion, Shalyn Blankenship; his brothers and sisters: Joshua Babb, Cody Babb, Lucas Babb, Ty Babb, Joshua Edwards, Shelby Lynne Edwards and Olivia Jacobs, all of Berwick; grandmother, Margaret Hunsinger, Berwick; grandfather, William Babb, Sr., of Orangeville as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Zach was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gele Hunsinger, grandmother, Lois Babb and by an uncle William Babb, Jr. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:30 AM at the McMichael-Rairigh & Baker Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E.Third Street, Berwick, with Pastor Mike Delp, Stillwater Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. A Viewing will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Service at 11:30 at the Funeral Home.
