Wendy Joan Whitenight, 55, of Berwick, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. She was born April 24, 1962 in Berwick, a daughter to Robert and Betty (Rogers) Knorr. Wendy was a graduate of the Columbia Montour Vocational Technical School. Most of her working life was spent as a baker at Giant Market. She enjoyed restoring furniture, gardening, painting , doing craftworks, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren andfamily. Surviving Wendy are her daughter, Nichole E. Lawrence of Berwick, sons: Joshua Matyas of Mifflinville and Steven Matyas of Berwick, mother, Betty Rogers Knorr, grandchildren: Stasia, Trinity, Charlie, Rhiley, Lukas, and August, sister, Cindy Derr of Espy, brother, Robert Knorr, Jr. of Berwick, several nieces, and a nephew. Wendy was preceded in death on October 14, 2016 by her loving husband, Tyler Whitenight. Her father, Robert Knorr, also preceded her in death. Services are private, at the convenience of the family.
