Wendy Harvey

Wendy J. Harvey, 50 of Berwick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at her residence after a prolonged illness. She was born May 22, 1963 in Lebanon, PA., a daughter to Anthony J and Pauline ( Vorbleski) Sarday. A graduate of the University of Scranton, Wendy worked as a business administrator for Penford Carolina, LLC. Wendy enjoyed Penguins hockey, going to the casinos, and traveling. She especially liked to cook and bake with her daughter. She was a loving and caring wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed. As well as her mother, Wendy is survived by her husband of over 22 years, Leslie, son, Alec and daughter, Jillian, both at home, two sisters: Paula Sarday Miola and her husband, Steven of Lansdale and Lisa Kahler and her husband, Jeff of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Sarday. Visitation is 6-8 PM Sunday, May 18th at the McMichael-Rairigh & Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East 3rd St., Berwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Monday, May 19th at Immaculate Conception Church, 1730 Fowler Avenue,. Berwick. Fr.Francis Tamburro will serve as the celebrant. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut St., Berwick. The family requests that contributions in Wendy's memory be made to Beyond Violence, 1612 Walnut St., Berwick, PA. 18603.
