Victor J. “Jim” Musselman, 84, of Danville and formerly of Dorrance, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville surrounded by his family. Born in Rohrsburg, on June 17, 1938, he was a son to the late Raymond Otto Musselman and the late Minnie (Everett) Torres. Mr. Musselman attended a one room schoolhouse near his home. He went on to a long career in the building trades, working with the Laborers’ International Union of North America, Local 215. Jim attended Trinity Methodist Church in Danville. He was a member of the Washingtonville Volunteer Fire Company and Danville Moose Lodge 1133. Jim was a model railroad enthusiast and enjoyed gardening. He also enjoyed carnivals, Knoebel’s, and the Bloomsburg Fair. He dabbled in wine making and always appreciated auto racing of various types. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a great sense of humor and was always “just kidding.” Jim never missed any of his grandson’s baseball games or wrestling matches. He loved spending time with his beloved family, by whom he will be deeply missed. Surviving Jim is his loving wife, Suzanne (Corey) Musselman. They would have celebrated 25 years of marriage on October 18th. Also surviving are children: Lori Marsyada of Mountain Top, Lisa Atkinson- Tracy and husband, Robert, of Cape Coral, FL, and Lynn Vitale and husband, Paul, of Wapwallopen; stepchildren: Richard Campbell of Dublin, OH; Stephanie Brown and husband, Zadoc, of Maui, HI; grandchildren: Dylan, Forrest, and Autumn Atkinson, Cody Marsyada, Dominic and Anthony Vitale, Kristin Campbell, and Zadoc and Declan Brown; great-grandchildren: James Marsyada and Callie and Bronson Pittman; sister, Susan Hollenbach of Girardville; numerous half-siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his darling cats: Cooper and Chloe. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his first wife, Maryann (Hanko) Musselman, and siblings: Vivian “Jean” Garcia, Anthony Musselman, Richard Musselman, and Vonda DeGregor. All are welcome to join Jim’s family for his funeral 6:30 PM Monday, September 12, 2022 at Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick.
