Stanley W. Eveland, 66, formerly of Berwick, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Geisinger Bloomsburg Health Care Center. Born September 27, 1950 in Berwick, he was a son to the late Jack and Florine (Kershner) Eveland. Stanley graduated from Berwick High School in 1968 after which he attended the Allentown Electronic Training Center. He was employed by Argo in Berwick and later, at the Benton Foundry. Stanley was a member of Bethel Bible Church, the American Trapshooting Association, and the North Berwick Hunting and Fishing Club. He was also a Lionel train enthusiast. A kind and caring brother and uncle, Stanley will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Surviving Stanley are sisters; Linda Elmes and husband, James, of Nescopeck, Joyce Laubaugh and husband, David, of Berwick, Jean Jarrard and husband, Leslie, of NC, ten nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers David and Robert Eveland. A graveside service for Stanley will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 24 at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Berwick. Pastor Richard Thomas will serve as officiant. The Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home is honored to serve the Eveland family.
