Shirley A. Loff, 68 of Mifflinville, passed away peacefully with her husband, Paul at her side Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Bonham Nursing Center, where she had recently been admitted. She was born April 24, 1947 in Carbondale, a daughter to the late Joseph and Rita (Lloyd) Brozina. Shirley was a graduate of the former Carbondale Area High School. She lived most of her adult life as a homemaker. Putting together jigsaw puzzles, line dancing, rollerskating, cooking and listening to music were some of the things Shirley enjoyed. Family activities meant the most to her, especially when they included her grandchildren. She was a kind and loving woman who will be greatly missed. Surviving Shirley are her loving husband of 49 years, Sergeant First Class Paul A. Loff, two sons: Paul J. Loff of Forty-Fort and Jeffrey Loff and his wife, Michelle of Mainville, two daughters: Cheri Lanza and her husband, Peter of Bloomsburg and Tracey Bailey and her husband, Sam of Nescopeck, eight grandchildren: Allison Miknich, Seth Loff, Austin Miknich, Elise Bailey, Kendra Loff, Katie Bailey, Petey Lanza, and Zach Bailey, and two sisters: Carolyn Cole of Dickson City and Diane Dobasewski of Carbondale. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 1 at the Mifflinville Cemetery. Monsignor Lawrence of St. Columba Church of Bloomsburg will serve as the officiant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Shirley's memory be sent to Paul Loff, PO Box 344, Mifflinville, PA. 18631, to help defray funeral expenses.
