Shawndra Michelle Alley-Stepney

Shawndra Michelle Alley-Stepney, 47, of Berwick, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. She was born May 24, 1972 in Berwick, a daughter of Kay L. (Oblosser) Santora and the late Joseph E. Alley, Jr. Shawndra was a graduate of Berwick High School. She loved children and working with and caring for animals, especially dogs and cats. For years she volunteered at the Animal Resource Center and currently worked at Barks ‘N Bubbles in Danville. She was a humble, generous, and passionate woman who was a friend to all and who will be sorely missed. As well as her parents, Shawndra is survived by her husband, Rayshaun, son, Sean Armstrong of AZ, daughter, Jensen Levan of Berwick, brother, Joseph E. Alley III of Dillsburg, sisters: Jozette Apgar and husband, Jason of Berwick, Kimberly Williams of Berwick, Heather Whitenight and husband, Don of Nescopeck,and Jeri Ann Alley of Berwick, step-fathers, Larry S. Santora of Berwick and Craig L Gensil of Reading, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Visitation is 6-8 PM Saturday, August 10th at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd St, Berwick. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation. Pastor Chad Hebrink of Grace Lutheran Church will serve as the officiant. Contributions in Shawndra's memory can be sent to the Animal Resource Center, 80 Hogs Back Rd, Millville, PA 17846.
