Scott Laporte Garrison

Scott LaPorte Garrison, 45 of Mountville, PA., passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care of Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania. He was born July 8, 1970 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, the son of Robert L. and Jane L. (Hartzel) Garrison of Berwick. A graduate of Berwick High School and Millersville University of Pennsylvania, Scott worked as a supervisor at Lancaster Mold, Inc. of Leola, Pennsylvania. He was a history buff, who particularly enjoyed trips to Gettysburg and taking vacations with his family. However, he most enjoyed attending Penn State football games with his sister, Wendy and tailgating with Bob, Karen, Don, Jerith, Rob and Carla. A loving son, brother, and friend, Scott will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. As well as his parents, Scott is survived by his sister, Wendy L. Garrison of Harrisburg and Uncle Jon, Aunt Robin, and cousin, Shannon Garrison, all of Nescopeck as well as his extended family at Lancaster Mold, Inc. Visitations are 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, January 8 and 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, January 9 at Scott's church, Grace Lutheran, 1315 Fairview Avenue, Berwick. His funeral service is 11:00 AM Saturday at the church. Pastor Chad Hebrink will serve as the officiant. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick.
