Sandra Lou Snyder

Sandra Lou Snyder, 78 of Numidia, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Berwick. She was born March 15, 1939 in Bloomsburg, a daughter to the late Gerald and Blanche (Miller) Getty. A graduate of Catawissa High School , Sandra was a hairdresser for many years before devoting herself totally to her family. She was an active member of Bethany Bible Fellowship in Mt. Carmel where she taught Sunday school for many years. During the past 18 years she enjoyed watching her grandchildren participating in various sporting events. Surviving Sandy are daughters: Brenda Fetterolf and husband, Scott of Berwick and Beth Keefer and husband, Jim of Danville, eleven grandchildren: Erin, Nathan, Kaitlyn, BJ, Jacob, Seth, Caleb, Shayne, Peyton, Colton, and KJ, seven great-grandchildren, sister: Sharon Hayman and husband, Kenny of Numidia and brother, Ned Getty and wife, Kathleen of Catawissa. As well as her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Harold LeRoy Snyder and son, Bryan Snyder, husband of Terri of Numidia. Sandy was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to everyone who knew her. She will be sorely missed. Sandra's funeral is 11:00 am Wednesday, December 13th at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd St., Berwick. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of the service. Pastor Scott Fetterolf will serve as the officiant. Burial will follow at the Kulp United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1395 Old Reading Road, Catawissa.
