Roy J. Redline, 87, of Mifflinville, died Saturday, June 7, 2025, surrounded by his family, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. Born in Mifflinville on September 26, 1937, he was the son of the late George F. and M. Arlene (Stiner) Redline.

Mr. Redline was a graduate of Mifflinville High School, Class of 1955. Following his graduation, he proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Olmstead. On July 6, 1960, he wed the love of his life, the late Marion D. (Kacyon) Redline. Together, they shared 60 years of marriage and raised their family. Roy was a member of Ebenezer Faith Bible Church and of the Mifflinville War Veterans. He was a long-time employee of Pennsylvania American Water, retiring in 1996 after 25 years of service. Roy was an avid hunter who also enjoyed golfing. He loved music and singing and played banjo and guitar. His greatest joys were his family and the times spent with them.

Roy is survived by his children: Mark Redline and wife, Gail, of Bloomsburg, Sherry Melchiorre and husband, Jim, of Berwick, and Linda Henrie and husband, Tim, of Berwick; grandchildren: Tarah Kishbach and husband, Mitch, Taylor Henrie and fiancé, Joseph Ditzler, and Lisa Drumm and husband, Dakota; great-grandchildren: Kira Karchner, Tanner Kishbach, Reagan Kishbach, and Dallas Drumm; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his wife, the former Marion D. Kacyon, who died February 8, 2021. He was also preceded in death by infant daughter, Holly Redline; infant grandson, Stephen Redline; and sisters: Clara Yocum and Grace Price.

Roy’s funeral will be 11 AM Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E. Third Street, Berwick. Reverend George Lee will officiate. Friends will be received from 5-7 PM Sunday, June 15, 2025 and from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM Monday June 16. Interment at Elan Memorial Park with Military Honors will follow the funeral. Memorial contributions in Roy’s name may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship of Columbia-Montour Counties, Inc., 2325 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
