Rose M. Dietterick, 65 of Berwick, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Berwick Retirement Village I, where she had resided for the past six years. She was born August 19, 1949 in Berwick, a daughter to the late Stephen and Mae (Baker) Milo. Rose was a hard working laborer for most of her adult life. Her interests included weight lifting and shadow boxing. Her taste in music was always the Top 40's. Known as a straight-forward person, she also was a loving and caring wife, mother and friend. All who knew her will miss her unique personality and the thoughtful way in which she related to others. Surviving Rose are her loving husband of almost forty years, Barry Dietterick, three sons: LeRoy Klinger of Berwick, Timothy Klinger and his wife, Jayne of WI. and Jeremy Dietterick of Berwick, sister, Veronica Milo, two grandsons: Cody and Justin Klinger, and two great-grandchildren: Addisyn and Dakoda Klinger. Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd St., Berwick. A Parastas will be held at 7:00 PM. Her funeral services will begin at 9:30 AM Thursday at the funeral home followed by a Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM at SS. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Church, 706 Warren St., Berwick. Fr. John Seniw will serve as the celebrant. Burial will follow at SS. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, Berwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose's memory can be made to the church.
