Roger R. Schechterly, Jr.

Roger R. Schechterly, Jr. 49, of Shamokin and formerly of Berwick, passed away Saturday, December 5 2020.  Born in Berwick on November 4, 1971, he was a son to Roger and Louise (Gower) Schechterly.

Roger was a graduate of Berwick Area High School.  Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army.  Roger had worked as a long haul truck driver and was most recently employed by WalMart.

In addition to his parents, Roger is survived by his daughters:  Anastasia, Denise, and Paulette Schechterly, all of Berwick; siblings: Christopher Schechterly and wife, Rudelle, of Nescopeck, Amy Schnauffer of Sunbury, and Timothy Schechterly and wife, Allie, of Hunlock Creek; companion Rose Hubbard of Shamokin, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.

Roger was preceded in death by wife, Christine Schechterly, and by a son, Roger R. Schechterly III.
