Roger C. Fish, 78, of Berwick, passed away peacefully Monday, January 14, 2019 at ManorCare Health Services in Kingston. Born in Towanda on January 8, 1941, he was a son to the late Clarence and Clementine (Detrick) Fish. Roger spent most of his life as a Berwick resident. He attended Berwick Area schools and Dickinson University. Roger was a graduate of Goldey-Beacom School of Business. Roger worked most of his life as a Nationwide Insurance agent, and was a well-known member of the local business community. He was very active in the community and was involved in the Jaycee's Christmas Boulevard, was both a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, and helped with projects for the Health and Wellness Endowment. He was also a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Anyone who knew Roger knew that he loved to garden. He also did extensive work researching the genealogy of his family. Roger will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, the former Carol Captor, two sons: Robert and wife, Deborah, and David and wife, Erin, brother: Durland and companion, Shirley, daughter-in-law: Beth Fish, and five grandchildren: Kelsey, Thomas, Kyla, Cambria, and Bella. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by son, Brian, in December of 2017. All are welcome to join Roger's family for his memorial service 11:00 AM Saturday, January 19 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick. Father Fred Stevenson will officiate. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick.
