Rodney S. Kile, 60, of Nanticoke, formerly of Berwick, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Guardian Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke. Born in Berwick July 11, 1958, he was a son to Ronald S. Kile and the late Beulah M. (Dreisbach) Kile. Rodney attended Berwick Area Schools. Later, he worked at SUNCOM Industries in both Northumberland and Bloomsburg. Rodney loved music, especially Johnny Cash, and movies, namely Elvis films. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, The Price is Right, and chocolate pie. His favorite times were those spent with his family and loved ones, by whom he will be greatly missed. In addition to his father, Rodney is survived by his step-mother: Mae H. Kile, brothers: Jeffrey L. Kile and wife, Sandy, of Berwick, Ronald L. Kile and wife, Deborah, of Nanticoke, and Donald L. Kile and wife, Stephanie, of Nescopeck, sisters: Tammy S. Kile of Bloomsburg, and Deborah A. Yocum and husband, Larry, of Wapwallopen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Rodney is his sister, April R. Lutz and brother in law, Joseph. All are welcome to join Rodney's family for his memorial service 11:00 AM Thursday, July 26 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick. Reverend John Hill of the Berwick Christian Church will officiate. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Briar Creek Union Cemetery on Brick Church Road, Berwick.
