Robert L. “Rob” Moore III was called upon by our heavenly father on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Rob passed suddenly at his home in Berwick, PA. He turned 39 on November 17. Rob was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Rob was a devoted father to his beloved daughter and best friend Bella Nicole Moore of Danville, was the loving son of Robert L Moore, Jr. and Deborah (Kingston) Moore of Berwick. He is also survived by his Nana, Patricia Brophy of Berwick, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and many close friends that were like family.
Rob graduated from Berwick Area High School in 2000. He currently worked at Summit Aerospace USA in the Poconos, and formally worked at Belrick Corp, Swoyersville, as a machinist. He had also been employed at Multiplex in Berwick.
Rob’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with his daughter. He loved fishing in tournaments with his father, Robert Moore, Jr., and his daughter, Bella, in his “Dad’s retirement toy” fishing boat. He liked kayaking and gardening as well and also enjoyed the simple things in life -- such as a good campfire, a great song, or an awesome sunset. He loved to bake and cook, especially when he helped his mom, Deb, and got to enjoy the results. He was a member of the Berwick Lunker League, liked going to sprint car races, and faithfully watched and also attended Philadelphia Eagles games--win or lose. Rob also liked to sit and have a few beers with his friends and in past years enjoyed attending and singing along as loud as possible at Pan.a.ce.a concerts. He was full of laughter and could put a smile on the face of everyone he met, especially with jokes and smart comments.
Rob was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Moore, Sr., grandfather, Donald Kingston, and grandmother, Erma Kingston, uncle, Larry Moore, aunt, Debra Baker, uncle, Donald Kingston, Jr., aunt, Elizabeth (Kingston) Mensch, Charles Kingston, Sr. and John Kingston. He was also preceded recently in death by his best friend and dog, Tank.
All are welcome to join Rob’s family for his graveside service at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street. His family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Robert L. Moore Memorial Fund, c/o Robert Moore, Jr. or Deborah Moore to defray the cost of final expenses. There will also be an announcement at a later date for a celebration of life party in the spring of 2021. The Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the Moore family.
