Robert John Felix, Sr., 91, of Berwick, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at the Gardens at Orangeville on Thurs., November 14, 2019. He was born March 22, 1928 in Berwick, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Rudolph and Frances (Klapal) Felix. A lifelong resident of Berwick, he worked as a welder for the former AC&F Industries, the Berwick Forge and Fabricating Co. and, later, as a maintenance worker for the Berwick School District. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Berwick. He was a member of the Slovanic American Club, Garibaldi Society and a social member of the Maria Assunta Society. He enjoyed carpentry, gardening, cooking and spending time with his family and many friends. His grandchildren, Gianna and Vincent, were "the apple of his eye" and he was extremely proud of them. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Rita E. Felix. Six brothers died previously: Robert Felix I, in childhood, and Victor, Rudolph, Florey, Stephen and Anthony Felix, as did two sisters: Frances Felix and Irene Crispell. He is survived by his son, Robert J. Felix, Jr. of Berwick, daughter, Dina (Felix) Acri and son-in-law, Michael Acri of Harrisburg; grandchildren Gianna and Vincent Acri of Harrisburg, and sister, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Taylor of Huntington Mills. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sat, November 23 at 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 721 Monroe Street, Berwick, PA 18603 with his pastor, Rev. Matthew Larlick as celebrant. Burial services will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Berwick, PA.
