Robert E. "Bobby" Comstock

Robert Eugene Comstock, Jr., known as “Bobby” to family and friends, age 68, of Orangeville, PA passed away at Maria Joseph Emmanuel Center, Sunset Lane Hospice on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born in Baltimore, MD on February 12, 1956 to the late Robert and Rose (Hunter) Comstock, formerly of Orangeville, PA.

Bobby was a 1976 graduate of Battle Monument School in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a member of Orangeville United Methodist Church.

Bobby spent his life being a great helper to many. He would do anything that was asked of him, always without complaint. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing.

Bobby is survived by 3 brothers and one sister: Mark (wife Tina) Comstock (Orangeville, PA) with whom he resided, Miles Comstock (Paradis, LA) and William Comstock (wife Sheri) of Little River, SC; Donna (husband Thomas) Murphy of Little River, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Rose Comstock of Orangeville, PA. He was also predeceased by two sisters: Gloria Jean Comstock in infancy and, Carol Moyle of Bloomsburg.

Bobby will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and all his dedicated friends at bowling.

All are welcome to join Bobby’s family for his funeral service 12:00 Noon Monday, May 20, 2024 at Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E. Third Street, Berwick. Compassus Hospice Chaplain Robert Barner will officiate. His viewings will be 4-6 PM Sunday, May 19, 2024 and 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon on Monday, May 20, 2024, both at Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery Annex, Walnut Street, will follow his funeral.
