Richard D. “Rick” Haight, 58, of Berwick, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born in Williamsport on November 14, 1967, he was a son to the late Harry D. and Patricia R. (Mason) Haight.
Rick was a graduate of Williamsport High School, Class of 1986, and continued his education at Williamsport Area Community College. On May 11, 2013, he wed the former Colette R. Mood, with whom he would share 12 years of marriage. He was a long-time employee of Berwick Offray, from which he medically retired in 2022. He was a member of Berwick Christian Church in Berwick, where he had been active in the Men’s Group. Rick enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing especially. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan who enjoyed paranormal investigations. His greatest joy was his family, by whom he will be greatly missed.
Surviving Rick are his beloved wife, Colette R. (Mood) Haight; children: Christian Wilson of Millville, Kerstin Green and husband, Austin Welsh, of Bloomsburg, and Elizabeth Green of Berwick; grandchildren: Nevaeh Strickland and Kinsley Wright; siblings: Linda Allen of Jersey Shore and Tina Knapp and husband, Ray, of Cogan Station; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
All are welcome to join Rick’s family for his memorial service 12 Noon, Saturday December 20, 2025 at Berwick Christian Church, 701 E. 5th Street, Berwick. Pastor Jeff O’Neill will officiate. Friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of the service at 12 Noon. In keeping with Rick’s love of animals, especially his cats, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center, 1467 Bloom Road, Danville, PA 17821.
