Ray E. Goshert

Ray E. Goshert, 58, of Bloomsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at his home. Born in Ephrata on November 17, 1968, he was a son to Edith F. (Martzall) Goshert.

Ray attended the Milton Hershey School. He worked for Henry Molded Products and Dart Container and had also been a truck driver. For many years, he enjoyed living on the road and working as a travelling carnival worker. Ray was a man of great faith and attend NC Church in Berwick. He was a CB Radio enthusiast who enjoyed listening to the police scanner and watching professional wrestling. He also enjoyed listening to Christian music, drawing, and spending time with his friends and family.

Surviving Ray are his mother, Edith F. (Martzall) Goshert of Berwick; daughter, Madeline Green-Goshert of MI; grandchildren: Mercedes, Zoey, and Chloe; sister Tammy Sue Strickler of Elizabethtown; half brother, Chris Goshert; and his close friend and “brother”, Alexander Cruz and wife, Alisa, of Berwick.

A celebration of Ray’s life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions in Ray’s name may be made to NC Church, 20 Kachinka Hollow Road, Berwick, PA 18603. The Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., of Berwick, is honored to serve the Goshert family.
