Phyllis Stauffenberg

Phyllis Stauffenberg, 94 of Berwick, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Elmcroft of Berwick, where she was a resident. She was born March 4, 1920 in Berwick, the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Martz) Klingerman. Before retiring, she worked for years as a telephone operator. Phyllis loved life. She brought joy and happiness to the residents and staff at Elmcroft. Her love of people was bona fide and evident to everyone. She will be greatly missed. Surviving Phyllis is her brother, Ralph Klingerman and her six Grand Nieces and Nephews. As well as her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Stauffenberg. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 2 at Elan Memorial Park. Pastor Scott Winter of the Berwick Assembly of God Church will serve as the officiant.
