Peter F. "Skip" Drumm III, 64 of Mifflinville, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his home after a brief, but brave battle with cancer. He was born June 9, 1951 in Chicago, a son of the late Peter F. Drumm, Jr. and his wife, the former Dorothy Ryan Drumm. Skip was a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a BS in Administration of Justice. His career in the nuclear industry spanned 34 years, beginning in 1982 in Michigan and continuing in Pennsylvania from 1985 to the present. For the past 31 years, he was employed by Energy Solutions at the Bell Bend Nuclear Power Plant in Salem Township. He was a super fan of the Chicago Cubs and Da Bears. Golf, the blues, and travel were also among the things Skip enjoyed. Most of all, he loved the company of his family and friends. A wonderful husband, father, grampa and friend, Skip will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Skip was a brother in the Tau Kappa Episilon fraternity and a former member of the Berwick Golf Club. Surviving Skip is his loving wife of almost 34 years, the former Fran (Nice-Harris) Drumm. They have resided in Mifflinville since 1987. Also surviving is step-son, Lowell "Andy" Harris and his wife, Tracy of Danville, granddaughter, Charlotte "Charlee" Harris of Snow Shoe, step-grandson, Eric Fagley of Danville, three sisters: Debbie Alberts and her husband, Jeff of Chicago, Bobbi Post and her husband, Dale of Dowagiac, MI., and Dottie Forrester and her husband, Randy of St. Joseph, MI., and numerous nieces and nephews. As well as his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Pagliuco. Visitation is 4-6 PM Saturday at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 E. 3rd St., Berwick.
