Pendrid Lee "Penny" Slusser, 79, of Berwick, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020. Born in Berwick June 10, 1940, she was a daughter to the late Harry and Betty (Bower) Sult. Penny was a graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1958. She continued her education at Bloomsburg University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in psychology. In addition to music, Penny also loved baking. In her younger years, she was known for her homemade pies, cakes, sticky buns and even wedding cakes. Surviving Penny is her husband, Sterling Slusser. Also surviving are her sons: Stephen, Gary, Scott, and Chris, nine grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. As a consequence of the current pandemic situation, Penny's services will be private. Her burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick. The Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the Slusser family.
