Pauline M. Remley, 84 of Berwick, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born January 10, 1930 in Berwick, a daughter to the late Nicholas and Julia (Klym) Miknich. Pauline played the glockenspiel in the Berwick High School Band. She retired as an electronics technician from A T & T in Allentown, PA. and was a homemaker with exceptional skills as a seamstress, cook, and baker. Family and friends were the most important things in Pauline's life. She was a loving and caring woman who will be missed greatly by all. Surviving Pauline are her son, Barry and his wife, Paula of Lancaster, granddaughter, Kelly Ferguson of Lancaster, sisters: Mary Miknich, Helen Sexton, Rose Kocerha, Stephanie Tinney, Irene Bodwalk and her husband, Roger, and Nancy Algatt, and many nieces and nephews. As well as her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie, brothers: Charles Miknich, Steve Bodnar, Michael Miknich, and John Miknich, and sisters: Catherine Geczi, Anna Lupinski, and Evelyn Dainowski. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East 3rd Street, Berwick. Pastor Scott Winter of the Berwick Assembly of God will serve as the officiant. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until time of the service. Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Pauline's memory be sent to the charity of your choice.
