Patricia ´Pattie´ Lynn (Salsavage) Petty

Patricia "Pattie" Lynn Petty, 48, of Berwick, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Berwick Hospital Center Emergency Room. She was born December 17, 1968 in Hanover Township, a daughter to Edward Salsavage and the late Frances (Suhena) Salsavage. Pattie was a graduate of Hanover Area High School, Class of 1987. While in high school, she worked at Boscov's department store. She also worked at Sam's Club, Dalo's Bakery, and most recently as a teacher's aide at the Berwick Area Middle School. Pattie was an avid baker who loved sharing cookies, pastries, and other treats with her friends, family, and coworkers. Additionally, she enjoyed arts and crafts, time spent working in the yard, planting her annual flowers that adorned her porch front, and tending to her pets including goats: Darrel and Daphne and pug, Jackson. A devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Pattie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving Pattie is her loving husband of 21 years, Vernon V. Petty. Also surviving are son, Chase V. Petty and daughter, Shea L. Petty, both at home, sisters: Sandy Pasternick and husband, Mike and Carol Holvey and husband, Mark all of Hanover Township, and brother, Edward Salsavage, Jr of Ashley. In addition to her mother, Pattie was preceded in death by her pug, Gomer. Pattie's funeral is 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 27 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick. Father Dennis Dalessandro of St. Joseph's Church will officiate.
