Michael J. Leffler

Michael J. Leffler, 72 of Berwick, died Friday, November 6, 2015 at Berwick Retirement Village II. He was born June 25, 1943 in Berwick, a son to the late Arthur and Dora (Heckard) Leffler. Michael served as a Baptist minsister and was very active in prison ministry. A veteran of the army, Michael also was a HAM radio operator who volunteered much of his time in service to Civil Defense. He also served as an EMT. Surviving Michael are seven children and two brothers. A memorial service celebrating Michael's life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 21 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 116 Summerhill Ave., Berwick. Pastor Stephen Portner of Bethany will serve as the celebrant.
