Mary Jane (Lewis) Laubach

Mary Jane (Lewis) Laubach, 75, of Berwick, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born in Carbondale on December 8, 1948, she was a daughter to the late John and Veronica (Ruane) Lewis.

Mary was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1967. On July 14, 1969, she wed Stephen C. Laubach, with whom she would share 55 years of marriage. Mrs. Laubach took great pride in the meals and food that she prepared both at home and for the family store, C M Laubach & Sons. She was a member of Bethel Bible Church. Mary loved spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren, by whom she will be greatly missed.

Surviving Mary is her husband, Mr. Stephen C. Laubach. She is also survived by daughter, Stevi Vandermark and her husband, Joseph, of Bloomsburg; grandchildren: Laurel Vandermark and Emmett Vandermark, both of Bloomsburg; siblings: Russell Lewis of Bloomsburg and Kathryn Lostaglio of Berwick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by siblings: John Lewis and Gretchen Henz.
