Mary Louise (Dodson) Rupp

Lifelong resident of Berwick, Mary Lou (Dodson) Rupp, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

Mary Lou was married for 69 years to the love of her life, Rollie Rupp, Sr.  A true love story, Mary Lou and Rollie were married young and never lost that young love mentality.  Mary Lou worked as a cook at Weikel’s restaurant for five years until moving on to cook at Salem Elementary School in East Berwick for 20 years, until her retirement in 1988.  Mary Lou’s light-hearted and fun-loving attitude was infectious to all those that she worked around.  Her loving, beautiful smile will be forever missed.

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Ella Louise Dodson; her brothers:  Mark Dodson, Glenn Dodson, and Ned Dodson; and grandson, Paul Silvetti, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Roland Rupp, Sr.; daughter, Laurella Troy of Berwick; son, Roland Rupp, Jr. of Mountain Top; and grandchildren:  Jessica Stark, Crystal Smith, Taylor Rupp, Catrina Troy, and Alex Troy.
