Martin Joseph Little, 66, of Lightstreet, died suddenly after being stricken at his home on Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was born February 6, 1949 in Muncy, a son to the late Raymond and Margaret (Kilgoose) Little. Martin worked for years as a welder at the former ACF in Berwick. He was a veteran of both the Army and the National Guard and was a member of American Legion Post 945 of Harrisburg. His children and grandchildren brought great joy to Martin. He also loved to fish, repair cars, root for the Philadelphia Eagles, watch NASCAR and drag races, and spend time with his best friend, Jim Kersey. Surviving Martin are his loving and caring wife of almost 35 years, the former Kathleen Filmore, three sons: James Lee and his wife, Angelia of Berwick, Shawn Lee of Hanover, and Ryan Little of Bloomsburg, three daughters: Mary Woodside and her husband, Greg of Berwick, Donna Anderson of Benton, and Jamie O'Donnel and her husband, Pete of Berwick, fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three sisters: Wanda, Lonnie, and Tammy, a brother, Leroy Little, and his faithful pet dog, "Emmy." As well as his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Steinruck, and a sister, Kathy Steinruck. A memorial service will be celebrated by Pastor Jack Kittle 2:30 PM Wednesday, March 18 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East 3rd Street, Berwick.
