Martin M. Force, 66, of Berwick, passed away suddenly, in his home, Saturday, February 20, 2021.  Born in Berwick on October 27, 1954, he was a son of the late Morris H. and Sarah I. (Yohey) Force.

Martin was a graduate of Berwick Area High School, Class of 1972.  In that same year, he wed the love of his life, the former Deborah K. Davis, with whom he would raise his family and share 49 years of marriage.  Martin proudly served his nation in the United States Air Force from 1973-1980.  Upon his return to Berwick, he began a career at PPL, from which he would retire after 34 years.  Martin was an avid golfer and a member of the Berwick Golf Club.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, by whom he will be deeply missed.

Surviving Martin is his loving wife, Deborah K. Force.  Also surviving are children:  Martin M. Force, Jr. and wife, KaRinne, of Mifflinville and Shea Force of Berwick; grandchildren:  Bryce Force of Berwick, Petty Officer 3rd Class Tanner Hileman of CA, Gabriella Force of Mifflinville, and Giuliana Force of Mifflinville; great-grandchildren:  Madison Force, Damian Krieger, and Zane Force; siblings:  Max Force of Berwick, Myrle Sharrow of Lime Ridge, Mona Hutchings of Berwick, and Marla Burgess of Lakeland, FL; and mother-in-law:  Zola Davis of Berwick.

In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by a sister, MaryAnn Hess.

All are welcome to join Martin’s family for his visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E.
