Margaret M. Cole

Margaret M. Cole, 85, formerly of Berwick, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Hershey Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1932 in Berwick, a daughter to the late Edwin and Clara (Muelhoff) Cole. Margaret worked at the ACF, Magee Carpet Company, Consolidated Cigar Company, and the State Employment Office, from which she retired in 1993. Following retirement she worked part-time at the Berwick K-Mart. She was a member of the Business & Professional Women's Foundation, the Lioness Club, the Berwick Hospital Auxiliary, and Grace Lutheran Church. Margaret was a kind, loving mother, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving Margaret are sons; Paul Hidlay of Harrisburg, and Leland Glen Hidlay, Jr. of Berwick, step-son; L. James Hidlay and wife, Ella Mae of TN, step-daughter; Susan Hidlay Pensyl and husband, Robert of Lightstreet, grandchildren; Jason, Michael, and Jamin Hidlay, great-grandchildren; Nykolas, Baylea, Brayden, Grace, Lydia, and Benjamin Hidlay, brothers; Frederick of CA, and Joseph of York, and sisters; Susan of Ashland, and Elizabeth of Millville. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Bradley. Margaret's services are private and at the convenience of the family.
