Luis Alfredo Serrano, Sr.

Luis Alfredo Serrano, Sr., 74, of Shickshinny, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.  Born in Lares, Puerto Rico on August 5, 1946, he was a son to the late Andre and Guillermina (Perez) Serrano.

For most of his life Luis had been employed in the garment manufacturing industry, honing his skills as a fabric cutter.  He had enjoyed puzzles and music, especially oldies and Doo-Wop.  His greatest joy,  however, was his family and time spent with them.

Surviving Luis are his children:  Elizabeth Serrano, Luis Serrano, Jr. and wife, Sandra, Edward Serrano and wife, Jazmine, and Diana Serrano; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings:  Elizabeth Davis, Judy Maldonado, and Santa Rodriguez.

All are welcome to join Luis’s family for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Immaculate Conception BVM Church, 1730 Fowler Avenue, Berwick.  Reverend Matthew R.
