Lois Hannah (Michael) Lutz

Lois Hannah (Michael) Lutz, 98, of Berwick, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at her home.  Born in Briar Creek Township on March 22, 1923, she was a daughter to the late Ervin and Martha (Sitler) Michael.

Lois attended the one-room school in Evansville.  On January 30, 1943 she wed Richard N. Lutz, with whom she would raise her family and share 63 years of marriage.  She had attended Berwick Bible Church and had been active in the Briar Creek Grange.  Lois had also enjoyed baking, gardening, puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Surviving Lois are her children:  Amber Stavinski and husband, Joseph, of Berwick, Ronald N. Lutz and wife, Jean, of Berwick, and David E. Lutz and wife, Alicia, of Berwick, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard N. Lutz, who had passed away April 24, 2006.  She was also preceded by her brother, Andrew D. Michael.
