Linda Allyn Johnson, 67, of Bloomsburg, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Geisinger MedicalCenter Danville after a twenty year battle with cancer. She was born May 21, 1951 in Hazleton, a daughter to the late Lewis and Theresa (Silvetti) Williams. She was a graduate of Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, PA., and also attended the Bucks County Community College. Linda worked for a time at Hayleyville Draperies in Bloomsburg as a purchaser. Most of her adult life, however; was spent as a homemaker. Her family was her life. On July 18, 1970 she married David Johnson. They were soon to celebrate their 48th wedding anniversary. Linda is survived by two daughters: Terry Johnson and husband, Larry and Kerry Keck and husband, David, five grandchildren: Trystan, Taylor, and Troy Johnson and Gianna and Ariana Keck, all of Bloomsburg, sister, Mary Ashleman and husband, Jim of Stillwater, and brother, Richard Williams and wife, Renee of Bloomsburg. Linda was also preceded in death by a brother, Allen Williams. A kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Linda will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Services are private, at the convenience of the family.
