Linda L. Hartman

Linda L. (Muraski) Hartman, 78, of Berwick, passed away peacefully in her home Friday, February 13, 2026. Born in Berwick on November 11, 1947, she was a daughter to the late Edward and Helen (Chepey) Muraski.

Linda was a graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1967. On April 14, 1972, she wed Terry L. Hartman, with whom she raised a family and shared 23 years of marriage. Mrs. Hartman was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Berwick for many years and was a long-time employee of Berwick Area School District, where she managed the high school cafeteria. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and her cats, watching birds from her porch, and taking in her favorite television programs, especially Wheel of Fortune and cooking shows.

Surviving Linda are her daughters: Brenda L. Hartman and Bridget M. Slusser and husband, Robby, all of Berwick; grandchildren: Logan Hartman, Brenae Slusser, Olivia Slusser, Max Slusser, and Ethan Shutta; great-grandchildren: Sophia Slusser, Ivan Slusser, Skye Slusser, Stella Slusser, and Renova Shutta; sisters: Mary Zaikowski and husband, Richard, of FL and Pat Kynik of Berwick; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Hartman, who passed away November 10, 1995.

All are welcome to join Linda’s family for her Memorial Service 5 PM Monday, February 23, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1315 Fairview Avenue, Berwick. Her pastor, Rev. Chad Hebrink, will officiate. Friends will be received from 3 PM until the time of the service at 5 PM. Memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made to Animal Resource Center, PO Box 439, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
