Linda B. Gearhart

Linda B. Gearhart, 77, of Lewisburg, passed away October 16, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.  Born in Bloomsburg on October 25, 1946, she was a daughter to the late Paul R. and Elmira J. (Seybert) Gearhart. Ms. Gearhart was a graduate of Berwick High School, Class of 1964.  She continued her education at Penn State University.  Linda was a dedicated educator who worked her entire career at the East Lycoming School District, most of that time teaching 5th grade.  She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Berwick.  She was also a member of the Jersey Shore Business and Professional Women.  Linda was an avid reader who also enjoyed quilting and crafting. Surviving Linda are sister-in-law, Eunice Gearhart; cousin and quilting friend, Melody (Kessler) Masich and husband, Scott; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings:  Victor C. Gearhart, Jack L. Gearhart, and Dennis P. Gearhart. Linda's memorial service will be 11 AM Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1000 Orange Street, Berwick, PA 18603.  Pastor George Price will officiate.  Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM.  Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery Annex will follow.  Memorial contributions in Linda's name may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church at the address above.  The Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve Linda's family.  Online messages of comfort and support may be left at www.kelchnerfuneralhome.com.
